What is SCDU Stars Ratings
SCDU Stars Ratings is a grading system for universities of choice to join. Participating universities are awarded five star ratings for their respective categories. The disadvantage is to help prospective students gain an in-depth picture of the university's strengths - all-encompassing the university for sustainable community development.
How are universities stars rated
There are six possible categories in which universities stars ratings can be rated. These cover outcome in the main areas of teaching&learning, research&innovation, academic service, arts&culture, employability and awards as well as excellence in a specialist field.
What is SCDU Stars Ratings provides
Just like the SCD ranking of universities, SCDU Stars can be used to compare universities. And instead of being awarded a ranked position (such as 1st, 2nd, 3rd), the university will be given a five star rating.
Who is SCDU Stars Ratings suitable for
SCDU Stars has a reason to help prospective students gather information to understand which universities are best in community development for them. The fact that each university is given a star rating means that students can quickly identify the strengths of an institution all inclusive. Find the universities that score high in community development that are most important to them. For universities, it is a way to show the strengths in more detail of community development and the university uses this information to improve engagement with the community more effectively.

SCDU Stars Ratings Criteria
Because universities have different characteristics. Therefore, the rankings must be varied to fit those universities. The SCD Stars University Ratings for sustainable community development is to make them appropriate for those universities. For six fundamental criteria relate to sustainable community development outcomes.
Teaching&Learning
Typical indicators in teaching&learning quality assessments are producing quality graduates under the curriculum that is consistent with the development of communities either in the two different levels: country and aboard.
